Quand le soleil ne s’amuse pas à cache-cache avec les nuages cotonneux, quand le ciel ne déverse pas son trop plein de pluie, il y a dans l’air comme un vrai goût de printemps, un soupçon de légèreté, un petit rien fait de pépiements d’oiseaux, de bruissements dans les taillis, une envie irrépressible d’enfiler ses bottes et d’aller humer et inspecter tout ça d’un peu plus près …
We Have Front Row Seats for the Thunderstorm
It is almost like these trees have a front row seat watching this storm as lightning strikes and dances in front of them during this beautiful Colorado thunderstorm on the country plains. A very active night that got me out of bed and out the door to this location. It is so nice when a plan comes together, as from my bedroom window I could see it hitting up in this area.
So off I went and when I got here, the set up was two cameras, one shooting in this direction Northeast and the other 100 feet apart shooting Southwest towards a barn and silo. Really got my exercise on this as I would have to run back and forth between the two cameras hitting the shutters. When one was done the other would go. Had 30 seconds exposures to do this. Finally the lightning in the Northeast stopped…
