Chasing Rainbows
Chasing Rainbows A scenic Colorado country landscape summer view of a green pasture and colorful rainbow with some trees on the horizon perhaps hiding thee pot of gold. North east Boulder County. It seems to always be raining with some sunshine at the same time. Prime time for rainbows, so when out chasing storms always chasing rainbows too, a great treat from mother nature.

Laid-back
(1/200, F6.3, ISO200, 17mm)
Walking the streets of Zaragoza you cannot help but notice so much amazing street art everywhere, mostly thanks to the great street art festival Asalto, who runs its ninth edition this year.
Apart from all those commisioned street art-pieces Zaragoza is brightened up by lots of work from local tattoo and graffiti artist Danjer.
This one is particalurly dear to me as it was around the corner from our house.

Lake Thunder Cell Lightning Burst
Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the storms keep rolling in every afternoon. This was a good one because it came in right after sunset. There were a ton of cloud to cloud and inter-cloud burst. Not my real favorite to shoot.
This is a view of lightning bursting out of a thunderhead cloud above a country lake in Southwest Weld County, south of Meade and Berthoud Colorado.

I kept making new headers then the background theme to match. I thought I had all worked out and guess what? They just got worse and uglier. lol..so my Above The Crowd is almost back to where it was in the first place.
Now This blog I am still working on of course I lost a lot of information while changing from one background making a new header. I did one up that was pink and I thought if my friend…

Three as one
Four a.m., Saturday morning, three people came together beneath the crescent moon to watch a solstice sun rise high on the moors overlooking Wharfedale in Yorkshire. Three individuals who share a dedication to the Light were joined as one, as Its symbol brought a new day to birth and bathed the world in gilded mists. Higher still we walked, and as the mists came down, cocooning a place of ancient sanctity, a book was taken from a bag that held bread, wine and shell and opened at a random page. He read:
…Do not seek to penetrate the thoughts of the mysterious head
its intimations are hidden
but its creations shine forth
like a shock of white hair untangled from shadow…
And later, as the triad stood beside an altar older than memory:
“The Filid, the wandering poets and philosophers, who were responsible for telling their stories, would compose praise…
