Truth of blessings

Peace, Love and Patchouli

Faded memories
Faces not forgotten
In wistful thought
I see you in my mind.
So very blessed
This short life journey
The places where in the depths of heart
The wildest dreams
Manifest in truth.
Blessings of friends
Carried along the way
In my minds pockets
Overflowing I smile
And capture them back up
As they fall like rain
Gathering them close
I sprinkle love
Like faerie dust
Through words of thanks
And a soul open to the world
You gave me the gift
Of a gentle smile
Of a hug
Of simple happiness
Just for being
A piece of me so vital
So enriched
I am blessed.

Thoughts on friends, family, and all that is wonderful in life. I am blessed to have so much and as dreams unfold my heart overflows.

It took only one person to envision hundreds of deciduous live oak trees growing to form an archway of abundantly intertwined, sphagnum-moss draped branches.  One person with one thought – create a beautiful country road.  One person to respond to an urge to manifest exquisiteness – not for themselves…

Penguins Abstract Macro Glass Photography by Omaste Witkowski

This photograph reminds me of a penguin. Sitting quietly in the Arctic and wondering what all of the color is about. Black and White is one thing but a bright blue penguin is a new idea.

In these bold colors I can almost taste a story waiting to be told. I see a wheat colored yellow and a calming blue, a royal purple, a nectarine orange, a limey green kiss, a sensual red and spiritual purple/pink haze. This picture is a colony of penguins all with a different meaning and aura. A bulb of yellow could represent a baby penguin waiting for its stunningly blue mother. The purple overlay is the emotional blood holding the penguins together. The orange outer layer is the health of the penguins. The green and pinkish/purple is the love held inside.

This is a photograph of a piece of glass artwork created by Garth…
