Michaeler Tor Hofburg
Michaeler Tor Wien. Aqaurell, 38×28 cm
This part is probably the most famous parts of the Hofburg. St. Michael and the two side wings form the Michaelertrakt of the Hofburg and together with the other houses of Michaelerplatz one of the most impressive places in Vienna. Especially when the gate and the dome are lit up at night, there is a very atmospheric picture.

One Four Challenge – Week 2
Awesome!
For the Second week of the March Challenge I have simply stepped up the image from Week 1 just a fraction. The shadows were lessened and the darker background helped to provide a greater contrast with the breaking bud.
I also stepped up the sharpness a fraction and this has really come out in the bubbles of rain, particularly the large one on the top right. A regional bit of lightening and here we have week two’s offering, not far removed from Week 1 but different nonetheless.
If you want to find out more about the One Four Challenge just head on over to Robyn G’s bog, ‘Captivate Me‘.
Have a good week now. 🍀
Black and White Challenge: Day 2
Love it!
I was invited by Steve Boer to do the 5 day black and white challenge. I believe I’m supposed to nominate someone else to the challenge but so many of my readers have already done it that I’m going to challenge anyone who hasn’t done it to do the challenge.
Here’s day 2: Mormon Row
Carried Away
Beautiful work!
